Owen's Sporting Summer

Owen kept very busy this summer! He had swim practices nearly every day at noon, and competed in 4 swim meets against teams from all over the city and county -- it was a very BIG affair!


His favorite stroke was the breaststroke, although he tried others during the meets as well. He was only one of a few kids in his age group to attempt the butterfly -- a very difficult stroke -- we were so proud!
He and his relay team even managed a 2nd place finish in one of their meets! Awesome!!



Owen also played baseball this summer. He was lucky to be on a team with one of his best friends from school, Cole.

It was a great team-building experience -- Owen had a great attitude and helped bring togetherness to the team. He got quite a few hits. These photos are of his home run! (Thanks to a few errors by the other team!)

Of course the favorite part of any game was the treat and drink after the game!
